مولانا محمد مبارک علی صاحب جن کی عمرچھیاسی برس کے قریب ہوگی حضرت شیخ الہند کے شاگردِ خاص اورآپ سے بیعت بھی تھے اورحضرت کی اسارتِ مالٹا کے بعد حضرت الاستاذ مولانا مفتی عزیز الرحمن صاحب ؒ سے تجدیدِ بیعت کرلی تھی اور حضرت مفتی صاحب کے خدام خاص میں شامل ہوکر حضرت موصوف ہی سے طریقہ نقشبندی میں اجازت بیعت و ارشاد حاصل کی۔ایک عرصہ تک ٹونک میں صدر مفتی رہے اورریشمی خطوط کی تحریک سے بھی تعلق خاص رہا۔ غالباً ۱۹۱۹ء میں مدراس (پرناہٹ) تشریف لے گئے تھے اورپھر بریلی کے قدیم مدرسہ مصباح العلوم میں صدارت درس کی خدمت انجام دی۔اب کم وبیش اڑتیس سال سے دارالعلوم دیوبند میں نائب مہتم کے عہدہ پرفائز تھے۔اہتمام و انتظام میں دسترس کے علاوہ کبھی کبھی حدیث کی کسی کتاب کادرس بھی دیتے تھے۔ تقویٰ وطہارت اوراخلاق وشمائل کے لحاظ سے سلف صالحین کانمونہ اورمثال تھے۔ صدحیف!دنیا اب ایسے حضرات سے خالی ہوتی جارہی ہے۔تغمد ھمااﷲ بمغفرتہ ورحمتہ ۔ [ستمبر۱۹۶۸ء]

Women employment is a practical issue of the modern age. It is adopted by almost all the nations and countries of the world. In the western countries rights of women including employment, trade, property, education etc were recognized after the efforts ofWomen Liberation Movement. However, in Islam these were declared their basic rights since the first day. A western woman is bound to earn her livelihood as it is not the duty ofa western man to provide her basic needs. However, in Islam a woman is legally protected for the provision of all her basic needs and it is the duty of her father, brother, husband and son to provide these to her. Islam permits a woman to do a job or carry out trade activities and earn money subject to some conditions. These may be carried out by the permission of her husband, father, etc. Besides employment, a woman should perform her obligations at her home and family, which is her basic duty. She must be careful about her husband and children rights. She must observe Hijab and abstain from mixing with non-mehram men and should follow other social teachings of Islam. Wealth earned by her is considered her property and she can spend it any way at her discretion. Study of Islamic History revealed that many of the wives of the prophet (Sallalla ho alaihe wassalam) and Sahabiyat (RA) carried out business activities and performed other jobs and thus earned money. They spent it to assist the Prophet's noble cause and to assist their husbands and to care their children. These activities were considered authorized and endorsed by the prophet (Sallalla ho alaihe wassalam)

Synthesis, Structural Elucidation and Biological Activities of Homo and Hetero Bimetallic Complexes Containing Pd Ii and Sn Iv With Various [O, O] [O, S] and [S, S] Donor Ligands

In the present study, monometallic, homo- and heterobimetallic complexes containing tin(IV), tin(IV)-tin(IV) and tin(IV)-palladium(II), respectively with various [O,O], [O,S] and [S,S] donor ligands have been synthesized. The ligands used were 3-[4-(2hydroxyethyl)phenylamido] propenoic acid (HL1), 3-[IH-indazolyl-6-amido]propenoic acid (HL2), 3-[5-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-amido]propenoic acid (HL3), 3-[4-(2-hydroxyethyl) phenylamido]propanoic acid (HL4), 3-[5-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-amido]propanoic acid (HL5), 2-[IH-indazolyl-6-amido]benzoic acid (HL6), 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole,5-carboxylic acid (HL7), 1H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol (HL8), 2-mercapto-5-methyl benzimidazole (HL9), 5-amino3H-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-thiol (HL10). The free ligands or their salts were treated with organotin chlorides and/or palladium chloride in methanol/water to synthesize the complexes 1-84. The purity of the products was tested using TLC. The coordination mode of ligands, structural confirmation and geometry assignment of the complexes both in solid and solution states were made, using different analytical techniques such as elemental analysis, IR, UV visible spectroscopy, NMR (1H, 13C), mass spectrometry and X-ray single crystal analysis. IR data suggested a bidentate bonding of the carboxylate (COO−) and dithiocarbamate moieties (CSS−) with few exceptions of monodentate bonding. The triorganotin(IV) complexes exhibited polymeric trigonal bipyramidal geometry in solid state while monomeric tetrahedral geometry in solution state. The chlorodiorganotin(IV) carboxylates/thiocarbamates showed trigonal bipyramidal environment around tin(IV) both in solid and solution state. Spectroscopic data supported the tetrahedral geometry both in chlorodi- and triorganotin(IV) complexes with thiol donor site (-SH) of the ligands. UVvisible absorption data demonstrated a square planar geometry around Pd(II). The mass (EIMS) fragmentation pattern agreed well with the molecular skeleton of the investigated complexes. The synthesized complexes were also screened for their biological activities such as antibacterial, antifungal and cytotoxicity. The results showed that triorganotin(IV) complexes exhibited more bactericidal, fungicidal and cytotoxic effects than diorganotin(IV) complexes. The synthesized complexes possessed hemolytic activities sufficiently lower as compared to triton X-100 and higher than PBS.
