افسوس ہے کہ مولانا مفتی محمد رضا انصاری فرنگی محلی کا ۵ فروری کو لکھنؤ میں انتقال ہوگیا، عمر تقریباً ۷۰ برس کی تھی، اناﷲ وانا الیہ راجعون۔
خانوادہ فرنگی محل گذشتہ تین سو برس سے ہندوستان میں علم و عمل کی شمع روشن کیے ہوئے ہے، اس خاندان میں علم کی دولت جس طرح محفوظ رہی اور نسلاً بعد نسل اس میں جس قدر اضافہ ہوتا گیا، ہندوستان میں چند خاندانوں کے علاوہ اس کی کوئی مثال نہیں ملتی، ملا قطب الدین شہید ان کے فرزند استاذ الہند ملا نظام الدین محمد بانی درس نظامیہ کے بعد ملا حیدر، ملا مبین، ملا حسن، مولانا عبدالعلی بحرالعلوم، مولانا عبدالحئی اور مولانا عبدالباری اسی خاندان کے سلسلہ الذہب کی روشن مثالیں ہیں، بقول علامہ شبلیؒ لکھنؤ کا فرنگی محل، علم و فن کا معدن بن گیا، آج جہاں علوم عربیہ کا نام و نشان باقی ہے، اسی خاندان کا پرتو فیض ہے، ہندوستان کے کسی گوشہ میں جو شخص تحصیل علم کا احرام باندھتا ہے اس کا رخ فرنگی محل کی طرف ہوتا ہے۔
ہمارے عہد میں مفتی محمد رضا انصاری مرحوم اپنے اسی نامور خاندان کی علمی و تہذیبی روایتوں کے وارث تھے، ان کے والد مولوی محمد سخاوت اﷲ، مدرسہ عالیہ نظامیہ میں ریاضی کے استاد تھے، بعد میں وہ حیدر آباد دکن میں محکمہ امور عامہ میں ملازم ہوئے،، ان کی عدم موجودگی میں مفتی صاحب مرحوم کی تعلیم و تربیت ان کے رشتہ کے چچا مفتی محمد عبدالقادرؒ کی زیر نگرانی ہوئی جو علم و عمل میں اپنے اسلاف کرام کا نمونہ تھے اور جن سے شاہ معین الدین ندوی مرحوم نے بھی مختصر المعانی کا درس لیا تھا۔

The Rise of Greek Philosophy in the Muslim World and Imam Ghazali’s Tahafat-ul-Falasafah (An Analytical Study)

Imam al-Ghazali has criticized not the logical principles but their misuse and incompetence of philosophers. In addition, Imam al-Ghazali's objective position on philosophy and science in the objectives of the philosopher is highlighted that he had no problem with mathematics and in his view the difference in logic is actually the terminology. Imam al-Ghazali's personality has been debated in various contexts in the context of religion, philosophy and science, and even today new aspects of it keep coming to the fore. The reason for this is on the one hand Imam Sahib's intricate personality and on the other hand Imam Sahib's versatility. Modern studies have made Imam al-Ghazali an enemy of philosophy and science. Along with Orientalist wisdom, modern Islamic scholars also studied Imam al-Ghazali on the methodology of Enlightenment, due to which they too came to the same conclusion that Imam al-Ghazali is the biggest obstacle in the way of philosophy and science in Islamic civilization. Following in his footsteps, our traditionalist scholars now present Imam al-Ghazali as the victorious philosopher. No, but absorbed it. In this article, we have tried to make it clear that integration is a prominent element of Ghazali's philosophy of thought. Rejection of philosophy has become the identity of Imam Ghazali while passion for philosophy is a sign of his greatness of thought. Imam Ghazali's critique of Tahafat-ul-Falasfa defines the nature and scope of this critique. The main target of Imam Sahib's criticism was the theological conclusions of Muslim philosophers which contradicted the basic tenets of Islam. In addition, Imam al-Ghazali's objective position on philosophy and science in Maqasid al-Falasfa highlights that he had no problem with mathematics and in his view the difference in logic is in fact terminology. There is truth and falsehood in physics. We have to think about it. Yes, there is a lot of falsehood in theology. Imam al-Ghazali is the guarantor of the life of philosophy in theology. This article examines in detail the nature of the relationship between Imam al-Ghazali and philosophy, and how philosophy has influenced Imam Sahib's overall thought. The influence of philosophy on his theology, ethics, theology and principles of jurisprudence has been highlighted. At the same time, the effects of Imam Ghazali on philosophers and philosophers on Imam Ghazali are also presented with examples.

Pragmatism in Management Institutions: Rethinking Business School System

Management and Business education industry is considered to be in the era of mushroom growth as variety of programs is offered throughout the world, and similar is the trend of admissions and enrolments in such schools. However, this expansion has made business education much commercial. Today business schools are somehow being criticized for not fulfilling their roles and responsibilities with much rigor and concern, particularly in imparting practical and pragmatic knowledge hence; the quality and value offered to the stake holders become questionable. The researcher therefore considered it important and researchable to explore that what business schools are all about? What education system they are following to impart practical knowledge? And are they being able to satisfy their stakeholders or not? How much industry should be involved in edification process to enhance the practicality and relevancy? The researcher has also recommended a possible mode of industry and school partnership namely pragmatic business edification (PBE) Model. The dissertation also collected responses of the stakeholders about proposed partnership, using focus group survey. The study was descriptive in nature. Interviews, Questionnaires and Focus group methods were used to collect data. 20 key informant interviews were conducted to gain a better understanding of the education quality and system. In addition, a total of 200 students and alumni’s were approached for the survey asking about the effectiveness of business schools in preparing them for the industry. The focus group study included twenty (20) professionals from education and other industries of Pakistan, exploring the potential benefits and possible hindrances in implementing proposed model. Research showed that there is an unsatisfactory perception of the education system design that management institutions are following at present. Currently the business education is partially fulfilling the requirements of industry and it is imperative for business schools to look for new, enhanced, and more effectual ways of imparting business knowledge. By working with industry business schools can intensify their efforts to fulfill employer needs. Therefore school-industry collaboration opportunities are needed to be adequately and effectively explored.
