پیپلز پارٹی کا یہ جیالہ 1957ء کو بھکر میں پیدا ہو ا۔وہ فلموں کا شوقین تھا اور ایکٹر گلوکار بننا چاہتا تھا 1977میں بارہویں کلاس کا طالب علم تھا ۔روزگار کی تلاش میں مشرق وسطی جا نا چاہتا تھا ۔ دبئی جانے کے لیے اس کے کاغذات مکمل تھے ۔اسی دوران ان کی ملاقات راشد ناگی سے ہو ئی ۔ 1978ء میں ضیاء آمریت کی طرف راشد ناگی کے کہنے پر خود کو آگ لگا دی ۔تاہم لوگوں نے اسے بچالیا۔ناگی نے اسے ہسپتال سے اٹھا کر جیل پہنچا دیا ۔جہاں اس کا آدھا بدن جل چکا تھا ۔ 1983ء میں ظہور الہی قتل کیس میں 26سال کی عمر میں پھانسی ہو گئی ۔جب اسے پھانسی دینے کے لیے لے جا یا جا رہا تھا تو ایک ٹانگ پر رقص کرتے ہوئے بھٹو کے نعرے لگا تا پھانسی گھاٹ پر پہنچا ۔

Youth are the real asset of a nation, nation make progress by channelizing, the energy and effects of youth in the right direction. If youth of a nation go astray, the nation will be bound to fail. This short paper intends to look at the challenges faced by our youth for example, the political, religious and philosophical influence of anti-Islam powers, the use of all resources to attract youth to Islam, the attraction of Muslim youth to philosophy, to look into the influence of west through education which is leading the nation to financial and social way wardenss Indecency, Arabic language is replaced with other language for teaching and understanding of the Qur’ān and Unemployment, poverty and a sense of uselessness of youth is a huge challenge. This factor is leading the youth to stealing, robbery and other moral weaknesses. This short article will try to throw light on the challenges and responsibilities of youth. The history of mankind tells us that it is only the young people, who took the revolutionary measures to change the societies. Youth is the prime time of ones life. It is the time when all energies are at their peak. So one should get advantage of youth before getting old and helth before falling sick. As they say “new broom sweap clean”. Young people can bring great changes in cleaning socieities from evils. Muslim youth has great resficial to whole humanity. Today, youth is facing many challenges in their life. These challenges are in social, moral, educational, intellectual and political fields. To cope with them youth must have the knowledge and awareness. This short article tends to throw light on these challenges and gives ways and remedies to face them successfully.

Enhancing Grade Eight Students’ Conceptual Understanding of Mathematics Through Engaging Them in Problem Posing in a Private School in Chitral

This study aimed at exploring how problem posing enhances grade 8 students' conceptual understanding of mathematics in a private school in Chitral, The participants of this research were 40 students of grade 8 and their regular mathematics teacher. For data collection, I observed five lessons in reconnaissance stage to get an insight into the existing teaching approaches and sources of mathematical problems the mathematics teacher used in the classroom. I also conducted an interview or had informal talks with the participant teacher before and after the lessons. Then, I conducted demo lessons during the pre-intervention stage to help the participant teacher improve his general pedagogical content knowledge for developing students' conceptual understanding. Afterward, during the intervention stage, the participant teacher and I conducted nine lessons in three cycles using problem posing as the main strategy. Before and after the teaching participant teacher and I had collaborative reflective dialogues on our experiences of implementing problem posing in the class. During the reconnaissance stage, I found that participant students had never experienced problem posing before the reported study. In the first cycle of the intervention stage, we started problem posing with reformulation of the existing word problems. In the second cycle, students analyzed, solved and critiqued word problems which they had collected from different sources. Finally, students posed word problems using imaginary situations following guided instruction. Data collection and data analysis process went simultaneously during the action research cycles. At the end of each cycle, we analyzed the problem posed by the students by looking at their solvability, complexity and originality (Silver and Cai, 2005; Lin & Leng, 2008). Analysis of the data shows that students developed their problem posing skills, as well as critiquing the given problems. This study found problem posing as a promising teaching strategy to develop students' conceptual understanding in mathematics.
